York / Hereford Shoot 2024

A UK record status and Rose award York / Hereford shoot.

The first one took place on Sunday 21st May 2023 and was be held at the FoBB range near Horndean.

This will be held on 19th May in 2024.

It will be a friendly relaxed shoot open to all bow types and 50+ categories are available.

Also an opportunity for Barebow and Longbow archers to get a score for their national ranking.

Rose awards will be available.

Team Challenge Shoot 2024

A team shoot handicapped by bow type shooting a Western, followed by a bar b que.

It is an open shoot this year, so County records can be claimed. It has previously been an invitational.

The shoot started in May 1994 to celebrate 20 years of FoBB.

Juniors are welcome but need to shoot the same round. There are no 50+ categories.

Teams do not need to be from the same club, can be any 6 archers with a connection, i.e. Quicks, HAA .........

Full details of the team, awards, handicapping and selection on the day are included on the entry form.

Any queries please ask, I will even try and answer handicapping queries.

WRS WA Weekend 2024

Our WRS WA weekend will be the same daily format as previous years.

Saturday WA70 Rec & LB. WA60 Rec & LB 50+ WA50 Compound & BB with 50+ categories.

Sunday WA1440 Rounds. 90m Gents, 70m Ladies & 50+ Gents, 60m 50+ Ladies.

This will take place on 6-7 July 2024 and will be held at the FoBB range near Horndean.

It will be a friendly relaxed shoot open to all bow types.

Provisional target lists are available below, any issues please let me know. I will update the lists as changes occur.

THE 45th CROOKHORN TOURNAMENT

The 45th Crookhorn Tournament will be held on Sunday 3rd November 2024 at the Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth.

​

The Crookhorn Tournament is a Non-record Status Portsmouth Round, held in the Mountbatten Centre Alexandra Park Portsmouth PO2 9QA and is one of the biggest in the south.

The Tournament is kindly sponsored by QUICKS ARCHERY,

We have an array of beautiful trophies covering Ladies,Gents and Juniors for both a single and a double round in recurve, compound, barebow and longbow styles. There is also an "Improvers Award" for those competing in consecutive years with the same bow style.
